Is founded in 1949 by the attempts of İhsan Uncu. It was about the spare parts of automotive and repairment then. . Pneumatic brake and oil-brake have been applied to cars since 1962. Engines were mounted on the back of the cars and they were used as back-engined. Next step was to add a third shaft and the first production attempts were the autoforias.

After a few years time, MKEK adjudicated 35.000 bayonets to the private properties for the MP in 1975. So that our company got the adjudication, after a six-months preparatory process, the production started. 40 – 50 thousands of bayonets and sheaths for G-3 were produced annualy. Those production activities went on for so many years. By the joint of MUSTAFA UNCU to the company in 1980, the company took a job of producing 2,75 inches Rocket Wings for the rocket factory in 1983. After completing the preparations, the production of the rocket wings had been done for the post ten years. İn 1985, this time the company took the job of producing the supports of the rocket wings.

After completing the preparations, the production had been done for the post four years . At the same time with the productions to the army, textile machinery spare parts production has also been started for import. Besides, Drill looms have been designed and styled and 600 sets have got moulded. Sometimes the company produced them itself. The production of the Polypropylene Fixing Bobbinware Machine which has started in 2004, has been continuing recently. We also provide spare parts and technical services for the machines we made and sold in or out the country with great attention so that we consider all our customers as deserving ones.

Our company with 200 different types of production units, has been working and known as MİTAŞ  Gaziantep Makine İmalat Sanayii ve Ticaret A.Ş. since 1980, it has moved to the new modern work area in 2007 where there is 4 times more place in compare with the previous work area.
13 pieces of CNC boring and lathing looms and cutting and bending machines have been added to the recent workshop. Besides, watering system, phosphate coating system are also parts of our job.
